Silicon Edge Graphic is the term for SEG. This is a dye sub fabric with a stretch material called polyflex, or soft knit. The SEG graphic has a silicon tab sewn into the fabric around all edges. Together with the metal extrusion the edge of the graphic is inserted into the slot on the extrusion to make a tight tension fit on the frame.
SEG graphics are used in portable exhibits and display booths as well as back lighted walls. Fixtures for supporting these graphics can be wall mounted, used in a 10×10 booth or larger custom exhibits. Those frames that are vertical are much like a banner stand and can have graphics on both sides or a dual sided display. When installing the SEG graphic into the frame always start at the corner and make your way up and down the sides on the frame.
Convention Displays offers all types of SEG fabric graphics in various configurations. Fabric images in the trade show industry has seen its popularity increased in the past few years. The Fabric is flexible and lightweight and cannot be damaged or creased like a laminate graphic panel.
